Job summary

Brilliant is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and maintain GAAP compliance. The role requires strong leadership, technical accounting knowledge, and a drive to improve financial processes in support of the company’s goals.

The candidate will supervise month-end and year-end closes, prepare financial statements, and collaborate with management to provide timely financial information for decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with general ledger, reconciliations, and close processes.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting activities (GL, AP, AR, billing) and reconciliations.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
• Strengthen internal controls and accounting policies.
• Assist budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and FP&A.
• Provide senior management with financial analysis and insights.
• Oversee accounting systems and data integrity.
• Coordinate internal and external audits as needed.
