Job summary

Wonder, the mealtime platform, is seeking an Accounting Manager in New York to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records across the general ledger and balance sheet. The role is hands-on, with month-end close, reconciliations, and strong internal controls, in a fast-paced environment.

This hybrid role requires 4–7 years' progressive accounting experience, CPA preferred, GAAP knowledge, experience with Netsuite and Floqast, and the ability to partner with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent.
• Active CPA license required or in good standing.
• 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with public company exposure.

Responsibilities

• Execute components of month/quarter/year-end close.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and schedules.
• Balance sheet reconciliations with clear documentation.
• Maintain internal controls and policy compliance.
• Support audit requests and provide reconciliations and schedules.
• Identify process improvements in workflows and systems.
• Oversee general ledger activities and ensure data integrity.
• Assist with ASC 606 assessments and related accounting treatments.
