Job summary

Westland Technologies Inc. is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to strengthen general ledger accounting and support day-to-day financial operations in a growing manufacturing environment, with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.

Reporting to the Controller, you will supervise journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, variance analyses, and GAAP/SOX compliance, including FAR/DFARS where applicable; you will guide junior staff, streamline processes, and manage payroll, fixed

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
5–7 years of accounting experience.
Experience with month-end close processes.
Working knowledge of GAAP.
Experience with ERP systems and accounting data integrity.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting, including journal entries, general ledger, and reconciliations.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
Prepare financial reports and perform variance analysis.
Maintain general ledger integrity and ERP data accuracy.
Support GAAP, SOX controls, and government contracting requirements (FAR/DFARS).
Support revenue accounting and payroll, fixed asset, and inventory accounting.
