Mount Pisgah Christian School is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the end-to-end accounting close and internal financial reporting. You will work closely with the CFO to ensure timely, accurate GAAP-compliant statements and drive monthly financial analysis and review meetings with division heads.

The role will own month-end close, payroll, reconciliations, internal reporting, and coordination of the annual external audit, while improving processes with the finance team.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• 8-10 years’ experience in accounting/finance; nonprofit accounting a plus.
• Self-starter with autonomy and integrity.
• Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of student, family and financial data.
• Advanced Excel; experience with Blackbaud, Veracross or Google-based infra is a plus; ERP enhancements a plus.
• Willing to be cross-functionally trained within the department.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.

Aufgaben

• Own the month end close, including payroll, revenue, expenses, fixed assets and journals.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations timely and accurately.
• Produce monthly internal financial reporting packages and variance analysis.
• Prepare for and oversee the annual external audit.
• Oversee cash management and cash forecasting.
• Assist with financial forecasts as needed.
• Assist with annual budget development with CFO and division heads.
• Drive process improvements and technology changes in the department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
