Overview

Hybrid position; CPA public preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead general ledger month-end close and prepare financial statements; manage a team.
• Support internal and external audits; review and verify entries to ensure accuracy of all account figures.
• Perform accounting functions related to general ledger accounting, financial statements, and account analysis; apply GAAP, internal controls, and accruals.
• Prepare schedules and financial statement highlights; ensure activity is recorded, corrections are made, adjustments calculated, and journal entries prepared.
• Assist with budget preparation and forecasting; review month/year end reports, accrual schedules, ad-hoc reports and analysis.
• Oversee bank reconciliations and cash posting reports.

Qualifications

• Big 4 CPA preferred with a strong auditing background.
• Strong experience in GAAP compliance, internal controls, accruals, and financial statement preparation.
• Ability to manage a team and coordinate with audits and financial reporting.
