Job summary

Ashton North LLC in Stockbridge, GA is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting and a small team in a fast-paced, project-based environment. You will own month-end close, job-costing, and financial reporting while partnering with project teams and ownership.

The ideal candidate has progressive accounting experience, hands-on leadership skills, and a strong handle on AP/AR, GL, cash flow, and budgeting. On-site role with a growth-oriented owner.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience supervising accounting staff.
• Construction or project costing accounting experience preferred.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations and a three-person accounting team.
• Manage month-end close, general ledger and account reconciliations.
• Oversee AP, AR, collections and customer billing.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reporting.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare short-term cash-flow forecasts.
• Strengthen job-costing and project-accounting processes.
• Develop and maintain appropriate accounting controls.
• Support budgeting and forecasting with the owner.
• Work closely with project managers and project coordinators.
• Identify opportunities to automate, streamline and improve accounting processes.
• Coordinate with outside CPA and other financial partners.
