Ashton North LLC in Stockbridge, GA seeks an Accounting Manager – Commercial Construction / Project-Based Business to lead its accounting operations.

This on-site role reports to the owner, manages a three-person team, drives month-end close, project accounting, cash flow forecasting and reporting, and partners with project managers.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, implements process improvements, and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong QuickBooks Online experience required.
• Prior experience supervising or leading accounting staff.
• Construction, specialty contracting, installation or other project/job-cost accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Hands-on, organized and comfortable working directly with an entrepreneurial owner.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations and a three-person accounting team.
• Manage month-end close, general ledger and reconciliations.
• Oversee AP, AR, collections and customer billing.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reporting.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare short-term cash-flow forecasts.
• Strengthen job-costing and project-accounting processes.
• Develop and maintain accounting controls.
• Support budgeting and forecasting with the owner.
• Collaborate with project managers and coordinators.
