Job summary

Chestnut Carbon is a leader in nature-based carbon removal solutions and seeks an Accounting Manager to own day-to-day general accounting and the month-end close for Chestnut Carbon and its subsidiaries.

You will partner with Technical Accounting, AP, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and external auditors to ensure complete, timely, and audit-ready financial reporting, while scaling processes and internal controls to support growth.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day general accounting and month-end close across Chestnut Carbon and its consolidated subsidiaries.
• Partner with the Technical Accounting Manager, AP Manager, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and external auditors to ensure integrity, timeliness, and audit-readiness of financial reporting.
