Precision Castparts’ PCC Structurals Carson City site seeks an Accounting Manager to lead the general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting with a focus on GAAP compliance and internal controls.

The role partners with the Plant Controller and leadership to drive cost accounting, inventory, standard costing, and manufacturing finance, while supporting SOX processes and operational performance analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA, CMA, MBA or other advanced accounting credentials preferred.
• Minimum five years of progressive accounting or financial management experience, preferably manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the plant's general ledger and ensure integrity of financial records.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close; prepare journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements, schedules, and reporting packages; investigate variances.
• Oversee inventory accounting, standard costing, and manufacturing variances.
• Ensure SOX compliance and maintain strong internal controls; support audits.
• Partner with Plant Controller and leadership; develop KPIs and financial analysis for decision-making.
