Datavant, a data collaboration platform for healthcare, is seeking an Accounting Manager reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager to oversee areas of the general ledger and a timely close under US GAAP.

This hands-on role requires journal entries, reconciliations, issue resolution with business partners, and driving process improvements across internal controls. You will collaborate with Controllership and cross-functional teams and support M&A integration activities.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience with GL and month-end close.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls, including SOX.
• Experience reviewing deliverables and leading close activities.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, multi-entity environment with evolving priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned areas of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
• Prepare and review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Investigate discrepancies and coordinate with business partners to resolve issues.
• Provide guidance and review support to accounting team members.
• Identify improvements to processes and internal controls.
• Collaborate with Controllership and other teams on reporting and audits.
• Support M&A integration activities and transition close responsibilities.
