Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the financial close process across multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. You will supervise a small team, standardize processes across ERP systems, and partner with Controllers to deliver internal reports to Metal Solutions and corporate accounting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, 8+ years of experience, CPA preferred, and strong ERP/financial reporting system

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with accounting in a public company or high-growth organization.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• People management experience preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Oracle R12, NetSuite, JDE, Epicor) preferred.
• Experience in consolidation systems (OneStream / Hyperion) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting close process across entities.
• Lead a team of 2+ staff and centralize tasks across ERP systems.
• Design, oversee controls, and implement accounting processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
• Maintain internal controls and safeguard inventory.
• Analyze variances and provide management commentary monthly.
