Job summary

Alcanza Clinical Research, LLC is seeking an Accounting Manager in Florida to oversee month-end close, reconciliations, AP operations, and financial reporting under US GAAP. The role includes coordinating with a multi-site team, managing offshore staff, and supporting audits and acquisitions.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's in accounting, 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, CPA preferred, and strong ERP/close software experience (FloQast, Sage Intacct, BlackLine).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; strong US GAAP knowledge.
• Experience leading close processes, reviewing reconciliations, preparing journal entries, variance analysis, and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP and accounts payable workflow systems; offshore resources management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly close process with prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accruals, and journal entries to ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Oversee monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigate items, and ensure timely resolution.
• Manage offshore AP resources, coordinate workflow, monitor performance, ensure policy compliance.
• Oversee end-to-end accounts payable, vendor inquiries, and period-end cut-off.
• Support annual audits, budgeting, forecasting, and integration of acquisitions.
• Develop and monitor accounting procedures and internal controls; coach team.
