Job summary

Alcanza is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee month-end close, reconciliations, AP operations, and internal controls across multiple sites in alignment with US GAAP.

Reporting to the Controller, you will supervise offshore AP resources, drive process improvements, support audits, budgeting, and acquisitions, and collaborate with cross-functional leaders to safeguard company assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; experience leading close processes and internal controls is required.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting; ERP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly close process with close activities and timelines.
• Oversee monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate reconciling items.
• Oversee offshore accounts payable representatives and ensure compliance with controls.
• Manage end-to-end accounts payable, including invoice processing and payments.
• Prepare month-end, bank, and management reporting with variance analysis.
