Job summary

Alcanza is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee month-end close, reconciliations, and AP operations across offshore teams. The role reports to the Controller and ensures internal controls and timely, accurate financial reporting in line with US GAAP.

The position also leads audits, supports budgeting and forecasting, and drives process improvements across multi-site operations and integrations of acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leading close processes and preparing journal entries.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP and accounts payable workflow systems.
• Experience managing outsourced or offshore accounting resources is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly close process and ensure US GAAP compliance.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and item investigations.
• Oversee offshore accounts payable representatives and workflow coordination.
• Maintain end-to-end accounts payable oversight including processing and payments.
• Coordinate annual financial audits and support budgeting/forecasting.
