Mabrey Bank is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the daily operations of the Accounting team, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. This role supports the Bank's financial strength through sound accounting and investment-related practices.

You will oversee general ledger, regulatory reporting (Call Reports, FR Y-9 series), and holding company accounting, mentor staff, and present financial information at committee

Qualifications

• 5+ years of banking experience.
• 5+ years of accounting-related experience or equivalent educational experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, banking laws, and regulatory reporting.
• Advanced financial analysis skills and Excel proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Lead and oversee the daily operations of the Accounting team.
• Establish, maintain and enforce accounting standards and procedures.
• Provide day-to-day leadership aligned with the Bank's vision and values.
• Coach team members to deliver high-quality internal and external service.
• Oversee general ledger, prepaid expenses, accruals, funds allocation and interbank liabilities analysis.
• Manage investment activities and pledging requirements for public funds.
• Prepare and file regulatory reports such as Call Reports and FR Y-9 series.
• Oversee holding company accounting and present financials at committee meetings.
