You will manage a team through subordinate managers, influence decisions on accounting policies, research complex issues, implement new standards, and uphold internal controls while aligning with risk and regulatory standards.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years in Finance or related field with 3+ years in management.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and ability to apply it to complex issues.
• Strong organization, detail orientation and time management under deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Make recommendations on accounting policies and interpretations to managers.
• Research technical accounting issues and implement new standards affecting the bank.
• Lead the department through subordinate managers to ensure timely financial reporting.
• Oversee monthly and quarterly processes and maintain internal controls.
• Adhere to risk and regulatory standards and escalate issues to management.
• Staffing, performance reviews, promotions, and salary recommendations within policy.
