Job summary

Ignited Recruiting is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager for a publicly traded client in Los Angeles. The role focuses on loan-related disclosures, external reporting deliverables, and supporting SEC filings.

You will lead quarterly earnings data, coordinate regulatory submissions like Call Report and FRY schedules, and collaborate across finance, reporting, and operations to implement new GAAP and regulatory guidance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in public accounting or public company financial reporting.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and ability to navigate evolving guidance.
• Background in banking/financial services sector preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required; CPA or MBA strongly valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of loan-related disclosures and schedules for 10-Q/10-K, informing MD&A and external reporting.
• Support quarterly earnings by assembling loan data for 8-K tables and public reports.
• Coordinate regulatory submissions, including loan components of Call Report and FRY schedules.
• Develop and review monthly internal reporting packages with board-level analytics and variance reviews.
• Partner across finance, reporting, and operations to apply new accounting/regulatory guidance.
• Contribute to close activities, audit support, and ad-hoc analyses including reconciliations and journal entries.
