Job summary

Recruiting Resources, Inc. partners with a leading financial services organization to hire a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst for its Finance team in Los Angeles.

The role focuses on SEC filings, GAAP-compliant financial reporting, and coordination with accounting, finance, and auditors. The ideal candidate has a CPA and 3–4+ years in public accounting, Big Four preferred, strong technical accounting research skills, and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• Prepare quarterly and annual financial reporting deliverables, including SEC filings, earnings materials, board reporting, and other executive presentations.
• Ensure financial reporting complies with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and other applicable reporting standards.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly internal management reporting and budget reporting.
• Perform financial analysis and prepare ad hoc reports to support leadership decision-making.
• Support the implementation of process improvements and reporting automation initiatives.
• Maintain strong internal controls and support compliance with SOX requirements.
• Partner with internal and external auditors by preparing supporting documentation and responding to audit requests.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and other business teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Research technical accounting matters and document conclusions as needed.
