Recruiting Resources, Inc. is assisting a premier publicly traded global financial services firm in Los Angeles in hiring a Director, Corporate Accounting.

You will join a world-class finance organization, oversee critical accounting processes, mentor teams, and influence strategic initiatives. You will lead SOX control, GAAP compliance, and analytics-driven reporting while guiding automation and finance transformation across onshore and offshore teams.

Responsibilities

• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, expense allocations, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain and strengthen a robust SOX 404 internal control environment.
• Prepare financial analyses, variance reporting, and executive-level reporting to support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee corporate operating expenses and ensure proper accounting treatment under U.S. GAAP.
• Lead the quarterly G&A expense forecasting process.
• Analyze financial data and business trends to provide meaningful insights to senior leadership.
• Manage and develop both onshore and offshore accounting teams across multiple time zones.
• Partner with external auditors, internal audit, and tax teams throughout the audit and reporting cycle.
• Lead and support strategic initiatives including acquisitions, capital transactions, accounting projects, and finance transformation efforts.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and implement technology-driven solutions that improve efficiency and scalability.
