Job summary

SURGE Staffing is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations for a manufacturing organization. This role emphasizes strong leadership, financial reporting expertise, and oversight of accounting and treasury functions in a fast-paced setting.

Key duties include monthly close, budgeting and forecasting, audits, cash management, internal controls, and supervising the accounting team to ensure accurate financial analysis for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• MBA in Finance or Accounting, or CPA preferred.
• 7–10 years of accounting and treasury supervisory experience preferred.
• Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, cost accounting, general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and internal controls.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
