Job summary

HRB is seeking an Accounting Manager to support foreign currency, intercompany investments, and legal entity restructuring for a long-term consulting engagement.

You will prepare CTA analyses, journal entries for international entities, and assist with currency adjustments during month-end close. You’ll partner with International Accounting to handle non-routine transactions and assist with disclosures for US GAAP and IFRS conversions.

Qualifications

• Responsibilities include managing CTA analyses and currency determinations for international entities.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries and assist with foreign currency adjustments during month-end close.
• Support accounting leaders with non-routine transactions (divestitures, acquisitions, intercompany restructurings, etc.).
• Participate in balance sheet reviews for international locations to ensure US GAAP compliance.
• Coordinate with auditors on US GAAP matters for international sites and assist with footnote disclosures for quarterly/annual reporting.

Our client has a need for an Accounting Manager to support foreign currency, intercompany investments, and legal entity restructuring for a long-term consulting engagement

• Prepare the monthly and quarterly CTA analysis and assist with the functional currency determination and documentation for international legal entities.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries for certain international legal entities and assist with foreign currency adjustments as needed during month-end close.
• Support the International Accounting leaders and international business finance teams with accounting for non-routine transactions (e.g. divestitures, liquidations, acquisitions, intercompany restructurings, etc.). Responsibilities include preparing and assisting international businesses with the necessary journal entries for non-routine transactions.
• Participate in balance sheet reviews for international locations to ensure compliance with financial policies and U.S. GAAP.
• Ability to work directly with external and internal auditors on U.S. GAAP accounting matters for certain international locations.
• Assist in the preparation of various footnote disclosures to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC rules for quarterly and annual reporting
• Participate in the IFRS conversion process for certain legal entities.
• Assist and oversee the accounting for goodwill and intangible assets on a monthly and quarterly basis and assist with our annual impairment testing.
