Job summary

Dynamics Executive Search is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead accounting operations across a complex international legal entity structure in a rapidly growing financial services environment. This high-visibility role offers exposure to executive management and the opportunity to help build scalable financial infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in financial services or complex environments.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, consolidations, intercompany accounting, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.
• Experience managing accounting across multiple legal entities and complex structures.
• Strong internal controls, financial reporting, and audit management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close across multiple entities.
• Prepare and review U.S. GAAP financial statements including consolidation support.
• Oversee general ledger, revenue recognition, accruals, fixed assets, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage intercompany accounting including allocations, funding activity, settlements, and elimination entries.
• Support complex legal entity accounting and collaborate with stakeholders on initiatives.
• Produce monthly management reporting, variance analyses, executive reporting packages, and financial insights.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Tax, Operations, and Technology on strategic initiatives.
• Maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and governance processes.
• Coordinate annual financial statement audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, automate processes, and improve efficiency.
• Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing accounting team.
