Job description

The Accounting Manager will oversee the day-to-day activities of the accounting and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, consistent application of accounting practices, and adherence to established company policies and procedures. This position will provide leadership to the accounting team while partnering with management and other departments to support the organization's financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the general accounting and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Review, prepare, and analyze financial information and management reports.
• Ensure accounting policies, procedures, and internal processes are consistently followed across the organization.
• Establish and maintain sound accounting practices and controls.
• Monitor compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulations, and company requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting and Accounts Receivable team members.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and team meetings to establish priorities, communicate expectations, and monitor progress toward departmental goals.
• Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback and complete formal employee evaluations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency within the accounting functions.
• Work collaboratively with department leaders, senior management, finance professionals, and customers to resolve issues and provide timely financial information.
