LHH is seeking a Controller / Accounting Manager for a Scottsdale hybrid role to oversee day-to-day accounting, manage multi-entity close processes, and drive financial accuracy across business units.

You will lead the accounting team, improve controls, and partner with leadership to support operational and financial objectives, with a focus on timely reporting and data integrity.

This role offers a competitive salary in the 130k-155k range plus an annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience managing accounting processes within a multi-entity or operationally complex environment.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and accrual accounting.
• Experience leading or mentoring accounting staff.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and process improvement mindset.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Our client, a growing and established organization, is seeking a Controller / Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support the financial management of multiple business units. This individual will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, improving processes, managing month-end close activities, and providing leadership to the accounting function.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, billing, account reconciliations, and general ledger activities
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Maintain financial data integrity across multiple entities and business operations
• Assist with financial statement preparation and analysis
• Improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting procedures
• Partner with leadership to support operational and financial objectives
