Job summary

Ledgent-Finance- is seeking a Senior Accountant for our Scottsdale, AZ office to manage complex accounting processes and deliver accurate financial reporting. You will lead month-end close, consolidate multiple entities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements while ensuring audit-ready documentation.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s in accounting/finance, CPA preferred, and at least two years of accounting or financial reporting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required or related field.
• CPA or active pursuit preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting, audit, or financial reporting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience with multi-entity consolidations or complex accounting environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record, analyze, and reconcile a variety of accounting and operational transactions.
• Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business objectives.
• Support accounting activities related to multi-entity and international operations, including foreign currency transactions and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with operational and administrative teams to gather financial data and ensure accurate reporting.
• Perform and review complex consolidations across multiple entities.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
• Ensure timely completion of accounting activities while maintaining audit-ready documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and strengthen internal controls.
• Support special projects and other accounting initiatives as needed.

Key Responsibilities
