Job summary

CFS is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our corporate finance team in a hybrid role in Oak Brook, IL. You will own the monthly close, consolidations, and intercompany activities while leading a team of accounting professionals.

Ideal candidates hold a CPA with 8–10+ years in public accounting or large corporate environments and possess strong US GAAP, ERP, and consolidation experience to drive accurate reporting and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required; CPA is required with 8–10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Master's degree or MBA preferred.
• Experience in public accounting and/or large public company environment.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and corporate consolidations.
• Proven leadership and team development experience.
• Advanced Excel skills; ERP and consolidation systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly close and consolidation process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee intercompany eliminations, equity, and corporate accounting activities.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement analytics.
• Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing coaching and mentorship.
• Partner cross‑functionally with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Legal, and external reporting teams.
• Support audit activities and maintain strong internal controls.
