Insight Global seeking an experienced Accounting Manager for a 4-month contract to support our finance team during a critical period of operational optimization and reporting. This hybrid role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional with a strong technical background, experience in warehouse and inventory accounting, and a proven track record of process improvement. Familiarity with NetSuite is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end close, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Oversee inventory and warehouse accounting processes, ensuring accurate valuation and reporting.
• Optimize and document accounting workflows to improve efficiency and internal controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, supply chain, and finance) to ensure accurate cost accounting and inventory tracking.
• Maintain and enhance NetSuite configurations and reporting tools to support business needs.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Support audit preparation and respond to auditor inquiries.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of technical accounting principles and GAAP.
• Proven experience with NetSuite ERP.
• Background in warehouse and inventory accounting is required.
• Demonstrated success in process optimization and change management.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or e-commerce industries.
• Familiarity with AICPA standards and internal audit practices.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools.

The pay rate for this role is $30-$55 per hour.
