Overview:

A growing and dynamic organization is looking for a skilled Accounting Manager to oversee core financial operations and lead accounting processes. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong foundation in GAAP, excellent Excel skills, and experience with modern accounting systems. A background in healthcare and comfort working with large datasets and automation is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage general accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, payroll, and account reconciliations
• Lead monthly close processes: journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and reporting
• Maintain and improve internal control procedures across accounting functions
• Coordinate with external CPA firms on quarterly and annual tax filings and audits
• Serve as a power user for ERP (NetSuite) and BI tools (Power BI), helping drive automation and data integrity
• Support executive leadership with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong understanding of GAAP: revenue recognition, A/P, A/R, accruals, prepaids, depreciation, and amortization
• Experience with cloud-based ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
• Familiarity with large data sets and cross-platform integrations
• Prior healthcare industry experience is highly desirable
