Job summary

CFS in Wisconsin seeks an Accounting Manager to mentor staff and partner with the Controller on financial reporting and operational analysis. The role offers exposure to multiple business units in a decentralized environment and a path toward leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or people management experience.
• Strong experience with month-end close processes.
• Solid understanding of GAAP, ASC 606, ASC 842, and inventory costing.
• Experience in manufacturing, construction, public accounting, or related industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process for assigned divisions and support a seven-day close timeline.
• Review team workpapers, financial statements, and account reconciliations prior to Controller review.
• Manage, coach, and develop accounting staff while overseeing workloads and deadlines.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Review and monitor customer rebate analyses and reporting.
• Partner with regional leaders on KPI reporting, financial analysis, and operational performance metrics.
