Accounting Manager — Business Management Firm | Nashville, TN | Up to $120k

Join a premier Business Management firm as an Accounting Manager overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and partnering closely with client service teams. You’ll own the close, deliver timely financials, mentor staff, and drive process improvements that scale with a growing book of high-profile clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close (journals, accruals, reconciliations) and produce accurate, timely financial statements
• Oversee GL integrity, A/P, A/R, cash management, fixed assets, and revenue recognition
• Prepare and analyze budget vs. actuals, KPIs, and variance analyses; present insights to leadership and client managers
• Coordinate audits and tax support; maintain strong internal controls and GAAP compliance
• Improve processes, policies, and documentation; help evaluate and implement ERP/reporting tools
• Supervise and mentor staff; establish close calendars, checklists, and review procedures
• Partner cross-functionally with operations and client teams on cash flow, billing, and special projects

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience required; leadership/supervisory experience preferred
