Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field (in progress or completed).

• Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

Meta is seeking a Product Accounting Manager to join the Global Corporate Accounting team within the Corporate and Infrastructure Controllership Group. This is an individual contributor role.The Product Accounting Team is critical to the accurate and timely accounting for Meta's payout obligations to creators, music partners, developers, and publishers - owning the accounting, driving operational integration with upstream systems, and partnering cross-functionally to support product launches and scaling. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the accounting and operational integration for partner payables across a product portfolio spanning music royalties, commerce, and cloud gaming. You will be responsible for performing accounting transactions and processes to support daily operations and ensure compliance with the U.S. GAAP and internal policies. You will play a critical role in Meta's month-end financial close process and will be responsible for identifying and implementing improvements to accounting processes to support scale as Meta's business continues to grow and effectively oversee an off-shore team. This includes managing partner payable balances, performing accounting assessments and reviews, and supporting related reporting and disclosure requirements. The individual will also work closely with our Product and Engineering teams to support system integrations, resolve data and process issues, and conclude on the accounting treatment within this space.Accounting Manager Responsibilities:Work within a corporate accounting global process function, with responsibility for key financial reporting areas (P&L and B/S)Ensure an accurate and timely US GAAP month-end close by providing management and support to the accounting close process.
