We're looking for a strategic, experienced accounting manager to join our corporate accounting team and help transform how that activity is accounted for. You'll own the accounting processes, projects, and control environment for the company's global treasury activities — foreign currency, debt, financial instruments, and intercompany. You’ll also help architect an AI-native close, designing automation and agentic workflows that improve how accounting operates at massive scale. This is an opportunity to become an AI-native accounting leader—embedding AI into scalable, controlled accounting workflows and helping shape how the profession evolves.Corporate Accounting Manager Responsibilities:Lead complex, cross-functional Treasury and FX initiatives from business-case development and accounting design through implementation and post-launch stabilizationRedesign and scale month-end and quarter-end close processes using AI, automation, and improved system controlsServe as the accounting subject-matter expert for Treasury-related accounting — including ASC 830 (Foreign Currency) and related technical accounting matters — translating accounting standards into actionable process, system, and control designsOwn the accounting for FX forwards and spot transactions, debt, investments, foreign-currency remeasurement, CTA, and related OCI activityDevelop business cases and accounting designs for senior leadership and partner with Treasury, Tax, Finance, and other teams on initiatives affecting foreign currency, cash, and intercompany accountingMaintain a robust internal control environment and support statutory reporting, internal audit, and external audit requirementsUse AI and automation to prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations for foreign currency, intercompany, and cash transactions, and proactively identify and resolve issues so that the close is faster, more accurate, and more controlledMinimum Qualifications:7+ years of experience in accounting or similar controller rolesBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCPA or equivalent qualification with a strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control frameworksHands-on experience with financial statements, month-end/quarter-end close, journal entry preparation, and account reconciliationsExperience in maintaining internal controls and supporting internal and external auditExperience leading cross-functional efforts and persuading diverse stakeholders (Treasury, Tax, accounting, external auditors) to align on solutionsAble to operate with a high degree of autonomyPreferred Qualifications:Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)Experience in a Big 4 public accounting firm (audit or advisory) or equivalent in-house controllership experience at a large-scale technology companyHands-on experience with treasury management and investment accounting platformsDemonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion or SAP, and proficiency with data querying tools such as SQL or an equivalentDemonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologiesDirect accounting experience with derivatives and other financial instruments (ASC 815), debt, and investment activitiesAbout Meta:Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
