Job summary

A leading financial services firm in Lafayette, CA is seeking a Mid-Senior level manager to oversee a finance team. Responsibilities include managing financial operations, ensuring GAAP compliance, and maintaining banking relationships. Candidates should have a degree in accounting or finance and 3–5 years of management experience. • Oversee and mentor a team handling AP/AR, collections, and transactions.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close to ensure GAAP compliance.
• Prepare accurate financials, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Handle tax filings and compliance reporting.
• Maintain banking and lender relationships, monitor cash flow, and support audits.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency.

• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or Master’s a plus)
• 3–5+ years in a management role within accounting/finance
• Strong technical GAAP knowledge and advanced Excel skills
• Experience in retail, multi-location operations, or similar high-volume environments preferred
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
