Job summary

Specialized Recruiting Group Fort Myers is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations and support executive leadership with critical financial insights. You will manage AP, payroll, GL, job costing, and treasury while driving month-end closes and internal controls.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, 4–6+ years of accounting leadership, strong GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel with ERP software experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• 4–6+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel and ERP software experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, payroll, general ledger, job costing, and treasury functions.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
• Oversee financial reporting, account reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Coordinate audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor cash flow and banking relationships.
• Analyze financial data and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Mentor and develop accounting and finance staff.
