• Prior supervisory or team lead experience required.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Payroll procedures or accounting software knowledge; Sage a plus.
• Experience with an external payroll provider a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, communication and time management.

Responsabilidades

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, supervise accounting staff, and ensure accurate and timely financial processes. Responsibilities include accounts payable and receivable, cash management, bank reconciliations, general ledger activity, financial reporting, and physician payroll preparation in coordination with an external payroll provider.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and support accounting staff while ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
• Oversee accounts payable, vendor payments, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Manage cash reporting, bank reconciliations, deposits, and credit card reconciliations.
• Prepare and review physician payroll information for submission to an external payroll provider.
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist with reconciliations, reporting, and required tax filings.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies and improve accounting workflows and internal controls.
• Support management with financial reports, audits, and special projects.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of financial, payroll, employee, physician, and other sensitive information.

Qualifications

• An associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Five or more years of accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, or general ledger experience required
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of payroll procedures and accounting software preferred; Sage experience is a plus.
• Experience with an external payroll provider is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, communication, and time management.
