Job summary

ScrollTab, based in Addison, TX, is seeking an experienced Controller to lead monthly close, financial reporting, and analysis across multiple medical locations and administrative departments.

Responsibilities include supervising accounting staff, ensuring internal controls, and partnering with operations and management to drive performance. A CPA with 5+ years of full-cycle close experience and familiarity with Oracle EBS and Hyperion is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university.
• Active CPA license required; licensure preferred.
• Five years of experience managing full-cycle month-end close, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite and Hyperion (HFM, SmartView, Essbase) a plus.
• Experience with multiple entities, public accounting or partnership accounting preferred.

Job description

• Manage and coordinate monthly accounting, close processes and financial reporting for multiple medical locations, internal service and administrative departments and ancillary businesses
• Supervise, develop, and retain professional accounting staff
• Provide financial liaison support to operational colleagues ensuring appropriate accounting of activity and meaningful analysis in support of operational strategies
• Provide internal department accounting and analysis
• Ensure compliance with current accounting controls and procedures
• Identify opportunities to streamline the accounting processes
• Provide guidance and support for financial audits by liaising with the external auditors
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and accrual accounting
• Communicate and work with all levels of Corporate management

Qualifications

• Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree Major: Accounting or Finance Degree must be from an accredited college or university.
• Education Details: Certifications and/or Licenses: Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required
• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred
• Customarily has five (5) years of experience managing full cycle month end close process, account reconciliation and variance analysis
• Experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite and Hyperion tools (HFM, Smartview, Essbase) a plus.
