Qualifications

• 5+ years in day to day accounting management or accounting roles, with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise; strong GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting knowledge.
• Analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to provide actionable recommendations.
• Strong communication and leadership to collaborate with executives and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations: general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, billing, cost accounting and revenue recognition.
• Prepare timely financial statements, monitor budgets, analyze variances and provide insights for strategic decisions.
• Coordinate budgets and financial forecasts aligned with company objectives.
• Develop and enforce internal controls; ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Lead annual audits, liaise with external auditors, and manage tax compliance.
• Build, mentor, and manage the accounting team and performance management.
• Provide financial guidance on mergers, acquisitions, investments and other initiatives.

Our highly skilled team is focused on research and development (R&D), quality, production, and the maintenance of our A4 fleet, delivering top-tier solutions to meet the rigorous demands of our clients. The Accounting Manager will manage and execute accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and providing strategic financial guidance.

Key Responsibilities

Managing the overall financial health of an organization by supervising accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance. Core duties include:

• Financial Management: Perform and oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, billing, cost accounting, and revenue recognition
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and publish timely financial statements, monitor budgets, analyze variances, and provide insights to support strategic decisions
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Coordinate the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with company objectives
• Internal Controls and Compliance: Develop and enforce internal controls, ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
• Audit and Tax Management: Lead annual audits, liaise with external auditors, and manage tax compliance
• Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage the accounting team, fostering professional development and performance management
• Strategic Support: Provide financial guidance on mergers, acquisitions, investments, and other business initiatives to optimize return on equity and assets
• Specialized Roles: In some organizations, accounting managers may focus on areas like sales profitability, trade budget management, and customer-specific P&L analysis

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or related fields.
• Experience: 5+ years in day to day accounting management or accounting roles, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Enterprise) strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting standards.
• Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations
• Communication and Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with executives, departments, and external stakeholders
