Qualifications

• CPA required
• 6+ years of accounting or auditing experience
• Public accounting and/or public company accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GL accounting
• Hands-on SEC reporting experience is preferred
• Experience with ASC 842, ASC 470, and ASC 360
• Real estate, lease accounting, and/or REIT experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Corporate accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly close activities
• Assisting with 10-Qs, 10-Ks, SEC reporting, and public company financial reporting
• Technical accounting including leases, debt, acquisitions, purchase accounting, and new accounting pronouncements
• Internal controls, audit support, and technical accounting memorandums
• Working closely with Property Accounting, Underwriting, Property Management, and executive leadership

• Corporate accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly close activities
• Assisting with 10-Qs, 10-Ks, SEC reporting, and public company financial reporting
• Technical accounting including leases, debt, acquisitions, purchase accounting, and new accounting pronouncements
• Internal controls, audit support, and technical accounting memorandums
• Working closely with Property Accounting, Underwriting, Property Management, and executive leadership

Skill set and experience:

• CPA required
• 6+ years of accounting or auditing experience
• Public accounting and/or public company accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GL accounting
• Hands-on SEC reporting experience is preferred
• Experience with technical accounting topics including ASC 842, ASC 470, and ASC 360
• Real estate, lease accounting, and/or REIT experience strongly preferred

Depending on experience, the position will pay $125k-$140k + 15%-20% bonus + 15%-20% stock-based compensation.

The company has historically paid annual bonuses above target and continues to grow.
