Job summary

A large, established organization is seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting to join its growing finance organization. This role combines corporate accounting, financial reporting, technical accounting, and public-company reporting exposure.

The ideal candidate is a CPA with a strong corporate accounting foundation who has led close and reporting processes and developed accounting teams within a large or public-company environment.

Qualifications

• CPA with strong corporate accounting foundation.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• 3+ years of leadership, supervisory, or significant project leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate accounting and financial reporting activities.
• Oversee month-end and quarter-end close processes.
• Support consolidated financial statements and management reporting.
• Research and address complex technical accounting matters under U.S. GAAP.
• Support SEC and public-company reporting requirements.
• Maintain and strengthen SOX compliance and internal controls.
• Partner with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
• Drive accounting and reporting process improvements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members.
• Partner with senior leadership on accounting and financial reporting matters.

Compensation: $140K–$150K base + 15% target bonus

A large, established organization is seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting to join its growing finance organization. This is a broad accounting leadership role combining corporate accounting, financial reporting, technical accounting, and public-company reporting exposure.

The ideal candidate is a CPA with a strong corporate accounting foundation who has led close and reporting processes, handled complex accounting matters, and developed accounting teams within a large or public-company environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead corporate accounting and financial reporting activities
• Oversee month-end and quarter-end close processes
• Support consolidated financial statements and management reporting
• Research and address complex technical accounting matters under U.S. GAAP
• Support SEC and public-company reporting requirements
• Maintain and strengthen SOX compliance and internal controls
• Partner with external auditors and internal stakeholders
• Drive accounting and reporting process improvements
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members
• Partner with senior leadership on accounting and financial reporting matters

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Strong corporate accounting and financial reporting background
• Experience with month-end close, consolidations, and financial statements
• Strong technical accounting and U.S. GAAP knowledge
• 3+ years of leadership, supervisory, or significant project leadership experience

Strong Pluses

• Big 4 or public accounting experience
• 10-K and 10-Q reporting exposure
• Experience within a large, complex corporate environment
• Regulatory or utility accounting experience
