Job summary

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is seeking an experienced Accounting & Finance professional to oversee daily accounting operations, multi-entity accounting, and year-end close.

The role also covers HR tasks such as payroll, benefits administration, and onboarding support, with a hybrid schedule (3 days in office) in Bedford, NH. Salary is $90,000–$100,000 plus bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting or finance experience.
• Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, payroll, and internal controls.
• Professional services experience and multi-entity accounting are a plus.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including the general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and banking.
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, cash flow reporting, and management reports.
• Manage multiple business entities, year-end close, tax coordination, and CPA relationships.
• Maintain accounting systems, vendor relationships, corporate filings, and regulatory compliance.
• Identify and implement process improvements and strengthen internal controls.
• Administer payroll, employee benefits, PTO, retirement plans, and personnel records.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, performance reviews, and HR compliance.
• Maintain employee handbook, job descriptions, and coordinate commercial insurance renewals.
