Accounting Manager - Indiana - up to $120K + benefits

Are you a hands-on accounting professional ready to take the lead in a dynamic environment? We're seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Auburn, IN and play a key role in driving financial accuracy, compliance, and business insights.

About the Role

As the Accounting Manager, you’ll oversee day-to-day accounting operations, lead month-end close processes, and ensure compliance with internal controls and reporting standards. You'll work closely with leadership to deliver key financial insights and support strategic decision-making.

• Oversee general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and bank reconciliations
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with auditors during annual audits
• Manage and mentor junior accounting staff
• Drive continuous process improvements across finance functions
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar)
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
