Job summary

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; advanced degree acceptable on exceptional basis.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, audits, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital funding budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Prepare and present reports on budget status and performance.
• Apply PeopleSoft and Interscope expertise to transactions and training.
• Reconcile capital funding and departmental receipts; produce status reports.
• Audit, identify discrepancies and implement effective solutions.
• Primary approver for departmental requisitions and financial actions.
• Oversee Accounting Technicians and provide ongoing mentoring.
• Collaborate with project managers and budget staff to ensure accuracy.
• Support project close-out, record retention and reporting.
