The OSU Foundation is seeking an Accounting Intern to assist the accounting department with recording, reporting, and monitoring financial resources. The role focuses on daily gift reports, journal entries, and transfer reviews, plus monthly budget updates and document scanning.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting or Finance, with strong reading, communication, and teamwork skills, and a commitment to confidentiality and high ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance with a strong academic record.
• Strong reading comprehension and problem-solving capabilities.
• Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily reports and journal entries – export and format daily gift reports; prepare journal entries; review transfer requests.
• Monthly reporting – update monthly budget worksheets.
• Scanning and other activities – scanning of documents; research projects; reconciling Excel worksheets; other duties as assigned.
