Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Financial Analyst to support Senior Financial Analysts and the Finance Manager across OSUCCC funds. You will perform monthly analysis and reconciliations, prepare reports, and alert management to discrepancies or non-compliance.

The role involves journal entries, fund monitoring, and year-end closing activities. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, 2+ years of relevant experience, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field and 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required; knowledge of a general ledger system is desirable.
• Successful completion of a background check and post-offer screenings may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly analysis and reconciliation of OSU funds within the OSUCCC.
• Prepare monthly reports and provide financial statements to stakeholders.
• Initiate journal and deposit journal transactions and monitor fund balances.
• Assist with year-end closing and budget-to-actual reviews.
