Job summary

SpawGlass is offering an Accountant Intern role in which you will gain hands-on experience across accounts payable, invoice processing, and project accounting. You will work with the accounting and project teams to support month-end close activities, ensure accurate records, and maintain compliance documentation.

Successful interns are motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with strong Excel skills and a desire to learn within a structured internship program at SpawGlass University.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, accounts payable processes, financial reporting, and reconciliation concepts.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is preferred.
• Experience through coursework, internships, or accounting-related projects is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments and stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Reliable, adaptable, and detail-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable processes and related tasks.
• Research invoice-related correspondence and support vendor and subcontractor payment requests.
• Maintain compliance documentation and participate in project accounting reviews.
• Assist with month-end close activities and reconcile project financial data.
• Help ensure accurate recordkeeping across multiple projects.
