Job summary

Consigli is seeking an Accounting Intern to join our Finance division and support the accounting team with reconciliations, audits, and spreadsheet analysis in a hands-on learning environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with quarter-end closes, reconciliations, budgeting, and month-end activities while learning internal controls and process improvements within a collaborative construction firm.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Foundational knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, budgeting, audits, and internal controls.
• Proficient in or willing to learn spreadsheet tools (Excel, Google Sheets) for financial data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Viewpoint, Sage) is preferred.
• Experience or coursework in account reconciliation, financial reporting, and data entry accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain accuracy under pressure.
• Reliable transportation to office locations or job sites, as required.
