Job summary

Enterprise Holdings is offering an Accounting Intern position at their Bettendorf office in Iowa. The 10–12 week full-time internship runs 40 hours per week with pay at $18 per hour.

You will begin May 2027, with specific start/end dates required for eligibility, and you’ll gain exposure to accounts payable/receivable, financial statement preparation, and analysis. Preferred candidates are enrolled in a bachelor's program in Accounting or Finance and may have prior accounting experience.

Overview

This 10 to 12 week internship is scheduled to start May 19th, 2027. It is a full time internship, with being scheduled to work 40 hours/week. The pay is $18/hr. and will be located at our Administrative office in Bettendorf, IA (4722 Forest Grove Dr. Bettendorf, IA 52722).

Responsibilities

Starting as anAccounting Intern, you will be exposed to basic accounting procedures and principles ranging from accounts payable and receivable systems to financial statement, preparation, and analysis. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assist in preparing financial statement & analysis
• Work closely with rental branches and other departments
• Assist accounting managers with reports, etc.
• Involved with A/P & A/R functions; cash receipts & petty cash
• Assist in accounting schedules & filing
• Perform miscellaneous administrativeduties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be currently enrolled in a college/university in a bachelors degree program in Accounting or Finance.
  • With a graduation date of either August 2027, December 2027 or May 2028.
  • Experience in accounting, accounts payable/receivable or bookkeeping preferred
• Must have basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past three years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
