The Research Foundation of The City University of New York (RFCUNY) is seeking an administrative role to assist with finance operations. The position involves reviewing invoices, data entry in GL systems, and monitoring disbursements as part of a centralized process.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in college with 45 credits, proficient in Excel and Word, and capable of handling fast-paced workloads with strong writing and communication skills. This is an on-site opportunity in New York.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in an accredited college with at least 45 credits towards a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word pivot tables and lookup functions (XLOOKUP and VLOOKUP).
  • Excellent writing, interpersonal, customer service, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and changing needs and priorities.
  • Detailed oriented, well organized; and ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work independently.
  • High school diploma/GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

The City University Construction Fund (CUCF) is a New York State public benefit corporation that manages the $3 billion capital construction program for the design and construction of space required to support the educational mandate of the City University of New York (CUNY).

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Review invoices for appropriate documentation before payment
  • Perform invoice and General Ledger data entry
  • Monitor disbursements by running monthly reports from the Statewide Financial System (SFS) and New York City Financial Management System (FMS)
