Job summary

Chesapeake Plywood, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to own the billing and payment processes and maintain strong customer accounts. You will support the sales team with payment solutions and help keep cash flow healthy through smart credit management.

Qualifications

• QuickBooks experience helpful but not required.
• Proficiency with MS Office including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Dependable, reliable, and accountable.
• Effective organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and follow through.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
• Prefer Finance & Accounting majors.

We supply specialty wood products that are hard to find elsewhere. That includes fire-rated, moisture-resistant, marine-grade and oversized panels, NAF and FSC certified panels, plus wholesale hardwood plywood, particleboard and melamine. JOB DUTIES

Manage billing, payments, and customer accounts

Reconcile bank accounts and match receipts Deposit checks and process sales tax

Support sales with payment solutions

Optimize cash flow through credit management

Requirements

QuickBook experience helpful, but not necessary

Proficiency with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Excel, and Powerpoint

Dependable, reliable, and accountable

Effective organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow through

Excellent time management skills and works independently
