Job summary

Accounting Intern position based in Bozeman, MT, focused on foundational accounting training and exposure to AP/AR, financial statements, and analysis. This role is designed to develop you into a Business Manager of your own financial operation within a growing organization.

You will start with basic procedures and progressively take on responsibilities across accounting schedules, reports, and cash handling.

Qualifications

• Rising senior enrolled full time, plan to graduate with a bachelor7s degree by May 2028.
• Valid drivers license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol related conviction in the past 5 years.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship required now or in future.
• 10-12 week internship with start in May.

The pay for this position starts at $17 / hr.

Responsibilities

Starting as an Accounting Intern, you will be exposed to basic accounting procedures and principles ranging from accounts payable and receivable systems to financial statement, preparation, and analysis. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assist in preparing financial statement & analysis
• Work closely with rental branches and other departments
• Assist accounting managers with reports, etc.
• Involved with A/P & A/R functions; cash receipts & petty cash
• Assist in accounting schedules & filing
• Perform miscellaneous administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be a rising Senior enrolled full time for the upcoming semester graduating with a Bachelor's Degree no later than May 2028
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at fault accidents in the past 3 years.
